Simon Green Atkins (1863-1934) was the founder and first President of the Slater Industrial Academy (which would become WSSU) in Winston Salem, NC. The collection of records from Simon Atkins' tenure as President of the school is now available at the WSSU Archives. Included in the collection are correspondence, financial records, as well as publications and reports among other various other types of records. The collection was reprocessed and a new finding aid was created.
